Tonight, 27 year-old Eugene Pitts, the UB student who was shot while he was at a party during the weekend, remains in the intensive care unit at the KHMH.

He's recovering from injuries he received from the shotgun pellets just before midnight on Saturday. He's told police that he doesn't know who shot him, neither do any of the partygoers who were at the house in Hattieville.

Today, police told us that because no one saw the gunman, they have very little to go on by way of investigation:

Pitts suffered the rupture of multiple internal organs due to the pellets in his midsection.
