And, another much delayed, now derailed promise is at Berger Field. Longsworth launched that project in 2012 - but nothing has happened and even the sign with the model plan has been taken down. Longsworth says that field of dreams is a dream deferred for the time being:..

"Berger Field has been sort of a torn in my side. I had gotten a promise from the FFB which didn't materialize to make it bigger than we really want it to be. I am working on another plan, which definitely will happen before the big race."
