"Will you be one of the persons advocating for a national convention and if there is a national convention, will you consider putting your name in?"

"Well we are going way ahead of ourselves right now at this time. I think that yes, the party leader is listening to what is going on within the party and I do believe if more people were to talk to him and ask him for a national convention, I think that is something that he will do. That he will seriously consider."

"A convention to which he can be challenged?"

"As to whether anybody will challenge the party leader, I think that is something that will be look at, at that time. Certainly it is not something that can be looked at presently today."

"You have been the largest contributor to the PUP for easily the past 6 years, if the figures on the table are accurate and I believe they are. I have said them long before that. As such a large contributor to the PUP, should not you be at a primary post on that executive table and you are also the only person to bring in a municipality?"

"I do believe that I do play a role in the party, in the PUP. Whenever my advice is sought, I give it. As I said, I am a PUP, I believe in the policies and the principles in the People's United Party and I want to do everything that I can to ensure that whenever the next elections are called, whenever that times comes, that we have a government of the PUP. It is only when we have a PUP government that we have true development in this country."

"Sir, not according to what you said. You said there was mass theft and criminality the last time they had a PUP government - that's what you said - tens of millions."

"Look what happened. Did we increased, when you look at the economy more than doubled during our time. We are growing this economy on the backs of our children and that is a fact and that is what is there for everybody to see."

"Under the PUP, there was debt default. They defaulted on their commercial debt. We are asking you about the tens of millions that you referred to."

"We did not default. We sat with the bond holders and we decided that we were going to re-negotiate. That's exactly the very same thing that this government did. We felt that we were in a better position to get a better deal to bring down the interest rates. If I remember at that time, we were saving about over 400 million dollars in that."

"Sir, if there have not been the theft of tens of millions, then you wouldn't have needed to sit with the...."

"If you look at the growth that took place during that time, all of the highways and the infrastructure that was done, there is a lot of work that the PUP did in its ten years when we were in government."
