The Belize Solid Waste Management Authority has awarded a contract for the construction of a waste transfer station and dumpsite rehabilitation at the location of the existing dumpsite through the Burrell Boom - Hattieville Road, between the Philip Goldson and George Price Highways.
Works have commenced and will be ongoing until August 30th, 2015. During this period, heavy equipment and trucks will be moving in and out of the site, therefore all motorists and cyclists are asked to exercise extreme caution when approaching the Burrell Boom dumpsite.
