2 weeks ago, we told you about 28 year-old Phillip Moss Samuels who police shot last week while they were detaining him. Well tonight, he's at the Belize Central Prison after been taken from the KHMH to the courthouse.
He was arrested and charged with keeping an unlicensed firearm, and keeping unlicensed ammunition. He was also charged with handling stolen goods, since the weapon was reported stolen by Carl Butler.
He was arraigned before the Chief Magistrate, Ann Marie Smith, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges. Due to the nature of the offences, he was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until May 29.
