The body of 59 year old Candelario Jaime was found near the river in Camalote. A group of kids from the village found his body about 5:30 on Saturday evening. According to his family, Jaime goes to take a swim every day at around this time and returns to his house after but this time he didn't. We went to Camalote to find out more from his wife Felipa Jaime.
Felipa Jaime, Wife Translated"Well honestly before I went to church he said he will go swimming and them he come back and mind the house and so went and when I came back he did not come back and I said well I didn't know what happened and it was already night so I couldn't go out so the next day I started to think bad like…something bad had happened and so I went to find him and when I told the neighbors there and one told her that she went down by the river some suspicious men were coming up from the river and so she said if he is not there. Something bad must have happened. Then she told me lets go together and go check at the river and when some kids went down who knew how to swim , that's when they found him, they found his body."
While the post mortem says he drowned the neighbors and his family are convinced he was murdered.
