Coach Says, Keep Eyes On Prize
posted (June 12, 2015)
And while we didn't have a chance to ask Assistant Coach Charlie Slusher about that specific issue, he did speak to us generally about sticking to the game plan and keeping the teams eyes set on the prize - which is the third round of world cup qualifying. Here's his message to them going into Sunday's game:..

Charlie Slusher - Assistant Coach - Jaguars
"This is no time to rejoice. This is no time to celebrate. We have not achieved anything as yet. The same way we came here and won a game. The Dominican team can go in Belize and win also. So we are one foot in the third round, but we have to be concentrating. We have to work hard and be focused to get a victory in Belize. We cannot make this opportunity go down the drain for us."

And to see if they do seize that opportunity - you can tune into Channel 7 on Sunday afternoon for liver coverage - or you can also go see the jaguars in person at the FFB Field in Belmopan.
