Students from 12 Belize City Primary schools gathered at the YWCA swimming pool this afternoon to compete in the annual Fiona Stevenson Swim Meet. The students spend the last 9 weeks learning how to swim at the YWCA pool which was funded by the Fiona Stephenson Foundation. It is an annual event and 7news stopped by this afternoon to check out the youngsters swimming techniques.
The 9 week swimming program wrapped up today with a swimming competition.
