Mexican Authorities have seized a huge cargo of illegal cigarettes - and it happened not far from the Belize Mexico border.
The Mexican law enforcement received an anonymous tip and with the strength of a search warrant, they visited the town of Huay-Pix in the municipality of Othon P. Blanco. That's a few miles north of the Belize/Mexico Border - and about 10 miles out of Chetumal. According to reports, they searched a building and found 10 vehicles loaded with boxes of cigarettes.
The law enforcement team searched the vehicles and found 3,342 boxes, and when they counted up all the packs, inside each box, the total amount was just over 33 million individual cigarettes.
