GSU Gets
posted (July 7, 2015)
Earlier you saw Commander of Eastern Division Southside Chester Williams say that he wants to focus on community policing, and while he may want to play Mr Nice Guy, last we checked, the GSU has its own playbook and its own chain of command. They also have their own press releases - and the latest one notes that a member of the Ghost Town Crips Gang was arrested and charged with a drug offense. On Sunday at around 8:15 the GSU searched the house of 31 year old Denvoy DOMINGO of Lakeview Street. The GSU found a transparent plastic bag containing (7) hand rolled cigarettes each wrapped with tobacco leaf containing cannabis to a total weight of 8.6 grams. As a result Denvoy DOMINGO and 21 year old Neika MC DOUGAL were arrested and charged for Possession of Controlled Drugs.

And later on at 10 on Sundat GSU found more weed and guns on Taylor's Alley. The GSU searched an abandoned lot and found (1) 9mm pistol and a magazine containing (10) live 9mm rounds of Ammunition wrapped in a shirt. Also in that yard, GSU found a transparent plastic container with 472 grams or 16 ounces of cannabis along with a metal magazine for a .40mm pistol. Police believe the firearm and cannabis belong to members of the Taylor's alley Gang.

An hour later at 11:00 the GSU found more ammunition stashed in a milk bottle but this time on Magazine Road. Officers searched an empty lot on Magazine Road and found (4) 9mm live rounds of ammunition in the empty milk container and a single 9mm live round hidden in a garbage pile. The ammunition is believed to be property of members of the Ghost Town Crips Gang.
