New Minister of State Makes the Rounds At BDF Camp
posted (July 20, 2015)
The newly appointed Minister of State in the National Security Ministry, Frank "Pawpa" Mena was at the August Pine Ridge military facility for the camp held by the Belize Defense Force Volunteer Battalion.

It's an event held annually for the volunteers, and today along with their new Minister of State, the unit hosted Governor General Sir Colville Young. The volunteer Battalion showed their readiness to activate for the state by putting on a demonstration on how they would take on a full riot, with a few of the members getting into the part of the civilians conducting the civil unrest.

At the end of the demo, their new Minister was pleased with the level of preparedness, as well as their ability as actors putting on a believable performance:

The camp continues tomorrow.
