This morning PC 225 Randy Lyons was awarded for bravery by the Eastern Police Division Rural. Lyons received a certificate and monetary award of five hundred dollars after saving the lives of the police youth cadet. The incident happened 2 weeks ago while on a trip in the Stann Creek district. The group of police cadets were attacked by killer bees.
Some of the Police Cadets had to be taken to the Southern Regional hospital for medical treatment.
