The Carnival is coming, and that means all kinds of waist winding mayhem in the streets. But before the glamorama of Carnival, there was a thing called "road march" and when that swept through the city streets – it meant that the tumblers would be there. And they still are; every year, these self schooled, self styled gymnasts of the pavement bring up the rear of the parade.

This evening we saw them practicing inside the St John's Cathedral compound. Leader Ras Jen told us they are ready for the road.
