On Friday we showed you the latest on Faith Nazarene Primary school - when a few teachers joined the protest against their own principal. Well, after school on Friday, a group of concerned teachers and parents including PTA members met to discuss the way forward.
According to a press release today, they agreed, quote, "that all parents with children at Faith Nazarene Primary School should be encouraged to permit those children, to return to classes on Monday, September 28."
The release explains that sending the kids to school does not mean that parents and teachers quote, "have stopped, or will stop advocating or agitating for change at Faith Nazarene Primary - including the demand that Principal Pech cannot continue her tenure", end quote.
They say they have gotten legal advice and have clarity as to the next steps forward, including a demand to be heard by the Teaching Services Commission.
