Domestic violence and human trafficking in Belize: How can we combat these issues? Well, that was the main discussion at the media workshop held today at the Biltmore. It is a part of a broader project to prevent violence against women and sexual exploitation of children. Now we have reported on numerous workshops and public forums on these pressing issues, but the violence continues unabated. Today we spoke with the coordinator and she told us it has to start with a social and cultural re-conditioning.
