San Ignacio Police have caught an escaped prisoner. 19 year-old prison inmate Carlos Garcia escaped just over 2 weeks ago from the station's Cell Block.
After an intensive search, police received information that he was still in the Cayo District, and this afternoon, they caught him on the Bullet Tree Road.
He's now back on lockdown, where he will face a charge for escape, as well as the rest of his 2 month sentence. He was convicted of possession of control drugs.
