A 15 year old girl is missing tonight and her mother fears she may be in danger. Shayanta Shanice Williams left home one week ago on Monday the 19th and has not returned since. Her mother, Leonie Williams came to our studios this morning and told us that when she got home that Monday night, she didn't find her daughter. She told us that she is worried because since her daughter went missing she has been receiving threats.

"When I came home, the landlord told me that a girl named Jay Bodden, came for Shayanta Williams and took her. The landlord says that she went with a school bag and with some clothes packed. From since then I haven't heard nor see her. I ask the little girl to please tell me where my daughter is, because she knows where my daughter is. And then there are some people who calls and text me threatening me. I really want that whosoever have my daughter to please send her home for me."

"We have to ask if you know maybe she is with a boyfriend or something like that. Because that's a main issue in terms of these cases - that they would go and visit friends or visit a boyfriend and then come right back home. But do you think that's the case or do you think your daughter is really in danger?"

"Miss I wouldn't know. I don't know if she want to stay where she is, but I would really want her to some home so that there people could stop call and threaten me. Because I don't know if she is in danger or not in danger. I can't tell, because I am not getting any head way. My daughter is just 15 years old. I don't want her on the streets. I want to get her in a hostel. I don't want anybody to chance her out there."
Shayanta Williams is a 2nd form student. Her mother told us that this is the 2nd time Shayanta has left the house. Anyone knowing her whereabouts can call her mother 6260302.
