In a week's time it will be Garifuna Settlement Day and that means the TV Ramos Cycling Classic is back again. The race will be held on Sunday and it starts in Dangriga at the Wadani shed and ends in Placencia. But this is not just a cycling competition - it's a sporting event that commemorates one of the most iconic figures in the Garifuna culture. We found out more from the organizer:
Cyclists who want to participate must be at the Wadani Shed by 9 Sunday morning. In the Elite Cyclists category, the 1st place winner will walk away with $500.
