And police "north side strike team" was back at it today. This morning at 9:00, they searched an open lot on Kelly Street and found just over a pound of weed. Further searches turned up another 7 ounces. No one was in the area so weed was labeled "Found Property".
Also this morning, police were on patrols in Pitts Alley, when they saw a man run into a yard and threw a bag away. He was escorted to the area where the bag was thrown and it was retrieved. It was stuffed with 10 small bags of weed. Albert Ford was formally arrested and charged for "Drug Trafficking and Possession of a Controlled Drug".
