The cost of living - how do you manage it? That's a question that daily confronts all of us - and it bedevils those who live on the margins. But one lucky person doesn't have to worry about that anymore; at least not for another year. That is because today she was the winner of Tropigas' "Live Free For a Year Christmas raffle." Keisha Torres spent about a thousand dollars at Tropigas this Christmas season and now she holds a $12 thousand dollar check in her hands. We were there when she picked dup her prize this morning:

"What was your first reaction when you heard you won?"

"I was surprised."

"Tell me how will this assist you in your daily expenses?"

"It cover all after the big shopping for Christmas."

"You are glad that you picked Tropigas as you main store to buy your appliances and what not?"

"Yes sir."

"This was a part of our marketing team. We have a marketing team that comes up with ideas every year. So this is one of the ones that we actually carry on from last year. So it actually proved well for us last year, so we decided to do it again this year - doing it in two portions at this point. Because last year we only did it once. But this year what we've done, is done it in two raffle. So we have one which will come in great for the Christmas season and then we have another one at the end pf the year which is March 31st. You get to choose to have either your light bill, water bill or your Tropigas bill paid here. So its $12,000 and you basically choose what you want to do with it."

"Why pick the Christmas season to give away this raffle?"

"This is the busiest time of the year and this is when people actually need money the most and it's actually a good time for us. So this is why we choose to do it at around this time or year. We do it primarily so that customers know that we appreciate their business. This is our way of giving back to them. So it's not only to just come in and shop with us, but for them to know that we appreciate them and giving them the opportunity to get back something from us."
Tropigas continues their giving back to the costumers campaign with another raffle on the 31stof March 2016.
