A man on a motorbike was killed as the result of an accident on Christmas Eve. It happened at mile 43 on the southern highway before 9:00 in the morning.
58-year-old farmer Celestino Coc, was driving his Mazda pickup truck, and rounding the curve at mile 43, he collided with 27 year old Mynor Cruz who was coming from the opposite direction. Cruz crashed into the door of the pickup and his motorbike was found 108 feet from the pickup truck.
Cruz survived the initial impact, but died at the KHMH on Christmas morning.
