Last night, we told you about 15 year-old Kurk Broaster. He was the young man who was shot yesterday near the Pickstock jungle area. Well, he remains at the KHMH tonight, recovering from gunshot injuries the chest.
We approached his family today for comment but they declined. They did tell us that his status has improved since yesterday when he was first rushed to the hospital. They say that he is in a "critical but stable condition".
As we told you he was standing at the corner of Pickstock Street and New Road when shooters passed by and fired at him. Street sources tell us that he was targeted as part of an ongoing gang rivalry.
