Here in the media, we know that it's off-season for workshops, conferences, symposiums and the like, but the organizers of the seventh annual Belizean International Symposium on Education, pulled it off. The event is an ambitious one, covering a wide range of topics about education. We spoke to Pamela Cook, the founder and executive director of the Belizean International Symposium on Education, and to a few of the participating members of the education conference.
The Symposium will make donations to the Dorothy Menzie's Child care facility, Liberty Preschool, La Isla Carinosa Academy (LICA), Caye Caulker and the Ministry of Education preschools.
