It made huge news in June of 2014 when six of Yohnny Rosado's employees from CaveTubing.com were accused of badly beating up their competitor's son, Vitalino Reyes Jr from Cavetubing.bz. Reyes Jr. ended up in a coma.
Well, tonight, five of them are free. Charges of harm have been dropped against 43 year old Jimmy Cortez, 41 year old John Frazer, 24 year old Christopher Williams, 38 year old Evan Williams and 39 year old Keith Vairez. This happened during the Preliminary Inquiry and they were told they were free to go.
So, the charge now only stands against 32 year old Leon Gentle. Senior Magistrate Sharon Fraser told Gentle that one witness told police in his statement that he only saw Gentle beating up Reyes Jr. Gentle was offered bail of $6,000 which he met after told his case was committed to stand trial at the Supreme Court for the April 2016 session. Gentle had been initially charged for attempted murder, but that was downgraded to dangerous harm.
