Teenagers Stole Nike Slippers, Sent To Jail
posted (January 26, 2016)
A pair of 18 year olds were sent to jail today - after a 14 year old accused them of jacking his 80 dollar Nike slippers. But, the families of Ulide Allen, and Norton Daniel Lorenzo Tun may only be finding out their plight on the news because the teenagers say police did not allow them to make a call. They told the court that they got no phone call to their parents to tell them where they were.

The robbery allegedly happened on Friday night on Partridge Street where duo by use of force stole wrestled the slippers off the boy's feet. The 14 year old said he was on a friends bike when they came on another bike and rammed into him. When he fell to the ground, he claims Allen grabbed the slippers from off his feet and they all ran off.

In court they both pleaded not guilty to a single charge of robbery.

The police prosecutor asked for bail to be denied because the victim is known to the accused as the police are concerned that if they are granted bail, they will try to interfere with him.
