Knock Head Or Gunshot in Bus?
posted (January 28, 2016)
Police have released the official version of that incident in Esperanza Village in which a bus passenger may have either shot another passenger, or, more likely, clubbed him over the head with the gun with 60 other passengers on the bus.

Around 2:30 yesterday, police received information of someone being shot on a West Line Bus heading from San Ignacio to Belmopan. They responded and met Conrad Thomas unconscious and being helped by a woman. They saw that he was suffering from a small cut wound to the upper right side of his head.

Thomas and his wife were traveling to Camalote and in San Ignacio he exchanged words with a man who was seated two seats in front of them. The bus continued on its way and in Esperanza village, his wife saw the same man coming from the back.

Shortly after she heard a knock and she saw the man with a gun in his right hand goading Thomas saying, "talk sick now!" After that, no one knows what happened, if the man shot her husband, or if he was only clubbed on the head. Thomas' wife told police that she only saw the man fleeing through the back door.

Medical forms have been issued to Thomas where his injuries were described as wounding. He remains at the San Ignacio Hospital in a stable condition. The seasoned experts say that the injury looks more like the assailant struck Thomas in the head with the gun.
