At around 9:30 p.m., the San Ignacio Special Branch and the Quick Response Team acted on intelligence and searched an open lot on St. Lucia Street, Santa Elena, in area known as Hot Point. There they found this .38 Taurus brand special revolver, with a wooden pistol grip. The weapon contained 4 live rounds of .38 ammunition, and an expended shell. The weapon was being hidden between several pieces of old zinc roofing.
