BEL's Big Money Debenture Draw

The Banks are flush with money - what's called excess liquidity - and they don't want depositors money. That's caused low interest rates on savings - so money managers might want to look at BEL to put their money. The power company today opened its series 7 Debenture Offer. They are offering 27.5 million dollars in debentures at an interest rate of 6% per annum for twelve years. The minimum buy-in? It's set at $100 dollars for a minimum of one debenture. BEL says it will use the proceeds from this debenture to refinance the Company's Series 2 and 4 Debentures. The offer is opened now, and closes on March 31, 2016.
