It's also a busy time for the party as Patrick Faber and John Saldivar vie for the post of first Deputy. Saldivar launched his candidacy today with an advertisement you may have seen in our last ad break - and Faber did his launch at UDP headquarters with a press conference. The special convention to elect a first deputy leader will be held in May or June. The Prime Minister has confirmed that whoever gets the party post, will also get the same promotion in Cabinet.
