This morning at 3 am, Emanuel Pech and Angel Noble left Belize City headed for a 10 hour hike across the Chiquibul National Park into the Caracol Archeological Park. They set out with one other media house and a phalanx of BDF soldiers and FCD Rangers and should be getting back to Cayo at about midnight. They went primarily to see new Guatemalan milpa farms that have been put down in Belize territory. Depending on when they actually return, we hope to have some portion of their report in tomorrow's news.
