A school teacher was charged with marijuana possession – and what’s more, a lady cop says Jaclyn Swasey kicked her in the belly! 

On April 17th, Police constable Kendra Robateau was on duty at a police check point at mile 31 on the Western Highway when she picked up the strong smell of marijuana from a blue Toyota matrix car.  She went to the passenger side off the car and says she saw Swasey fondling her left breast.  The constable spotted her flash light on the Swasey’s breast and she saw a transparent plastic bag apparently hidden in her bra. Constable Kendra told Swasey to get out of the car for a search, but says that when Swasey got out, she pushed her aside and fired a kick into her midsection.  That’s after allegedly throwing herself on the ground. Undeterred, the constable grabbed the woman by her wrists and managed to subdue her and take her into custody.

Swasey is a native of Trinidad and was charged with possession of 6 grams of cannabis when she appeared today before Magistrate Carlon Mendoza. She was also charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and obstruction. She pled not guilty to the charges and she was released on a bail of $500.
