Prime Minister Dean Barrow left the country today for New York where he will join representatives from 150 other countries in signing the Paris Agreement at the United Nations.

The Paris Agreement is a global accord aimed at slashing greenhouse gas emissions and slowing climate change. 

Prime Minister Barrow signs the agreement tomorrow and returns to the country on Sunday, 24th April. In his absence,  Deputy PM Gaspar Vega will act as Prime Minister.
