Newly hired Regional Health Manager for the North Audibaldo Monima, does not have a master's degree. The CEO in the Ministry of Health Ramon Figueroa told us that he has a masters in Naval Command. But 7News has confirmed that all he has is a certificate from the Mexican Navy Juniour Staff College. But then the CEO also referred to his management skills. Well, we also learned from Coast Guard sources who asked to remain anonymous that he has no experience, background or education in senior level management. And more than that, reports suggest that he had a less than stellar tenure at the Coast Guard, and ultimately left due to pressure from the high command about his substandard performance.
And so while he has no record of advanced training or excellence in naval command, that hardly matters since the job calls for a masters in Public Health Administration.
And for all he doesn't have, Monima who is a resident of Corozal, it seems, does have what matters most: and that is a political connect with Health Minister and Corozal Bay Representative, Pablo Marin.
