The Government of Japan donated a set of 30 wheel chairs to the Government of Belize today. The wheelchairs were handed over at a ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office in Belmopan. A resident representative from the Japan International Cooperation Agency handed the chairs over to Angel Campos, the Minister of State with responsibility for NHI, primary health and clinics:
The wheelchairs will be distributed to hospitals and clinics in Orange Walk, Corozal and Dangriga.
