Today is World Elderly Awareness Abuse Day and HelpAge organized a conference for its members on what elderly abuse is and what are the different types of abuse. The HelpAge Executive Director discussed the importance of this observance and told us about the activities that were held today.

But the elderly can also experience all those types of abuse in the same HelpAge Homes that are there to shelter and protect them. Bulwer told us what they are doing to address this reality.

There were 60 elderly members at the HelpAge event.
