Last night we told you about the 66 year old man who drowned on a Turneffe Island fishing trip, well there was another drowning, this time in Blue Creek Village. On Sunday evening around 4:00, 21 year old Thomas Salam and 4 friends went to Blue creek to fish. But it's only until later in the night that Salam dove in the creek to go spear fishing. That is when Salam got stuck among some fallen branches. His friends tried to help him but they couldn't get Salam out in time. Police say that Salam and his friends among many other residents usually go spear fishing in the creek.
