High Level Red Cross Meeting Hosted In Belize

We usually only hear about the Red Cross Society when they are helping out in the community during natural disasters or during their regular outreach programs. But for Red Cross members, there is so much more that has to be done in order for their initiatives to be effective and have an impact in the society. One of those objectives is to meet and share ideas at their Annual Resilience in the America's Regional Exchange Meeting. This is the first time that this meeting is being held in Belize and representatives from the 3 other sister national societies, namely Jamaica, Guyana and Bahamas are attending. Today the Director - General from the Belize Red Cross discussed the RITA program and how it can improve their community work.

The meeting began yesterday and it ends on Thursday.
