Cops Caught Burglars
posted (June 22, 2016)

Police arrested the three suspects: 25 year old Elick McCoy, 18 year old Elen Flowers, and 18 year old Jamie Williams- all caught in the act. This evening we met up with Sergeant Bradford Berry the Officer in charge of Mahogany Formation, who told us that they were able to foil this burglary thanks to good community intervention.

Sgt. Bradford Berry - OC, Mahogany Formation
"Due to the fact that the police have been doing these meet and great and myself and the police officers from Mahogany street police station and our initiative did our own meet and great and I had given out my cell number to some members of the community and they saw the burglary in progress this morning and one of them contacted me. I responded and acted on information that the person had passed on and I went to the address at Franklin Street where I found the burglary in progress."

"What was the process after that?"

Sgt. Bradford Berry - OC, Mahogany Formation
"Well myself and 4 other police officers from Mahogany street responded to the burglary and upon our arrival there we found the door slightly a jarred. We secured the area, I went into the building and found the 3 young men inside the building and they were apparently searching the house looking for what could have been taken. The sad fact about this burglary is one out of these same young men 4 months ago had burglarized this same house so it seems like he already knew the weakness of this home so he preyed on the house again and the people from that house."

Emanuel Pech
"Are these 3 individuals known to police?"

Sgt. Bradford Berry - OC, Mahogany Formation
"Well they are known to police because one of them like I said had already been previously charged for burglary at the same residence and the 3 of them are known to police."

All three are expected to be charged by tomorrow.
