Ripoff Report Had The Dirt On Mason Months Ago
posted (July 19, 2016)

Over the past 2 days, we've been telling you a lot about the man known as William Mason. He and 4 other associates are now at prison tonight for the beheading murder of William Mason.

Last night, we showed you the explanation that City Councillor Phillip Willoughby gave as to why this man got mixed up with the City Emergency Managment Organization. About a month and a half ago, only a few days after Mason was introduced publicly as part of the CEMO response mechanism for Belize City, an anonymous individual called our office. The purpose of that call was to alert us that this man, William Mason, may be a well-known con-artist who had been operating in Canada.

That anonymous caller left very little information to go on but advised us to search the internet under a different alias. Unfortunately, we searched couldn't find the page he was trying to direct us to, but this gruesome murder has brought up that angle once again.

This weekend, another source pointed us to this website, ripoffreport.com. The purpose of the website appears to be to warn persons that a “Ted Ouletteâ€￾ has been preying on people. The allegation is that “Ted Ouletteâ€￾ may be one of the many aliases of William Mason, accused of scamming unsuspecting victims out of their money.

The site lists a number of persons who are very angry at their encounter with “Ted Ouletteâ€￾. They claim that he took advantage of their trust, and scammed them out of money. One poster even suggested that “Ted Ouletteâ€￾ is currently using another alias, “William Fergusonâ€￾.
We're also obliged to tell you that this website does not appear to have official police links, and there is no evidence offered to prove these claims of scams that “Ted Ouletteâ€￾ allegedly committed.

There’s another article on the internet from Starbroek news in Guyana which lists another man identified as “Raj Ouelletâ€￾, with a varied spelling of the last name. In that news article from 2012, this “Raj Ouelletâ€￾, identified as a Guyanese born individual who migrated to the US as a toddler, introduced a business enterprise claiming that he was going to invest 25 million US dollars. In Belize, a photograph of William Mason's passport has emerged which says that his real name is Rajesh Oulette, a Guyanese national.
