The Man Mason Kidnapped Gives Police His Statement
posted (July 20, 2016)

Tonight, the William Danny Mason saga continues to unfold – and there are at least two major new revelations – one, about a video of the kidnapping of Pastor Llewellyn Lucas and others, and second, about the story of another UDP elected official who got a donation from Mason – and now wants to give it back!

But first we'll tell you about Lloyd Freisen.  He's the Mennonite businessman who ran away to Canada after William Danny Mason kidnapped him and his wife – and that's the unofficial report police keep saying they got weeks ago.

Well, now that Mason is in jail, Freisen returned to the country yesterday and made an official compliant to police - it is the first he has made.

Our police sources tell us that in the statement, Freisen – who is a major grain producer - explains that Mason told him he is a shipping agent who could facilitate the importation of three hundred thousand dollars' worth of corn through Argentina – so Freisen fronted the money.

But, the shipment never materialized and it turns out Mason was running a con as a shipping agent – which he was not.  Freisen lost the shipment and told Mason to return his money – which didn't happen.  Freisen kept pressing for it – and was invited to Mason's house for a meeting. That's where he and his wife were held by armed men, had their heads covered with hoods, and they were taken to Mason's ranch.  That's where Mason allegedly threatened them, and told not to say anything because he would find out through his deep connections inside the police department.  To top it off, Mason allegedly told Freisen that instead of getting back any money, Freisen would instead have to pay Mason $2,500 dollars weekly.

After this, Freisen did pay the extortion money for a few weeks and then fled the country for fear of his life.  He told police William "Danny" Mason introduced Pastor Llewellyn Lucas to him as his accountant and advisor.  Lucas was involved in meetings with Freisen, and it was Lucas who delivered half of the three hundred thousand dollar payment to Mason.  Lucas was also involved in subsequent meetings when the deal went sour, according to the statement.

Police will now use this statement – and are likely to bring more charges against Mason.
