GSU Gets Father and Son With Glocks
posted (August 8, 2016)
Tonight, Maroquin Drury, and his son, Keithburn Drury, are both at the Belize Central Prison after police say that they were busted the men with an unlicensed weapon.

It happened on Saturday, August 6th when the cops were on patrol on Marine Parade. That's when they intercepted an SUV, belonging to these men. The police searched the vehicle and found a Glock 9mm pistol with 8 live rounds of ammunition; it was under the front passenger seat. They couldn't produce any licenses for the weapon, and so they were charged with keeping an unlicensed firearm, and keeping unlicensed ammunition.

The GSU reports that a Glock 17 pistol was also found. The driver, 50 year old Keithburn DRURY, and his passenger 24 year old Marquin DRURY were jointly charged for firearm offenses since they could not produce a valid gun license.. For the GSU, this bust was more than the weapons; they say that Marquin DRURY is a member of the PIV gang and was wanted for questioning in connection with murder.

Both father and son were arraigned today before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer. They pleaded not guilty, but they could not be granted bail. Senior Magistrate Frazer remanded them into custody until their next court date, which is September 16.
