On July 26th Michael Herrera was stabbed in the chest by Cecil Gill in front of Wong Gok Restaurant on 6th Street in the King's Park area of Belize City. According to Herrera, he and his friends were buying food outside the restaurant when Gill pulled up in a car. They got into an argument and it ended when Gill pulled out a knife and stabbed Herrera in the chest.
Gill was charged with attempted murder in the Magistrate's Court today along with dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm. Herrera was able to ride off to the hospital.
