Stand Up Against Ageism: that was the theme for this senior week. There were a number of activities including an arts and craft display and movie night. Well today, to end off the week HelpAge held a Senior Spa Day where about 50 elderly persons got their nails done. The chairperson for HelpAge Belize City Branch told us more about today's pampering session.
But Clarke told us that beyond the pampering, there are a lot of problems affecting the older persons, including neglect and abuse.
