BAIL FOR Alleged COP BEATERS
posted (October 28, 2016)
And one major crime that had a major effect on police was the attempted murder of Constable Mark Rodriquez. He was off duty but in uniform at a Camalote bar on October 16. The accusation is that two men Sanjay Casey and Belhem Guzman, viciously beat him allegedly because they thought that he had called cops to the bar because they were smoking weed.

The duo was arraigned in the Magistrate's Court last Wednesday and read charges ranging from attempted murder to common assault. Well, both Casey and Guzman are out on bail tonight. The duo's lawyer presented the bail application in the Supreme Court today, and after heavy objections from the DPP, Justice Herbert Lord granted them bail at $4000 each. Justice Lord also added the conditions that Casey and Guzman must report to the San Ignacio Police Station ever Monday and Friday, and that they must not interfere with the victim or his family. If any of these conditions are violated, their bail will be revoked.
