posted (November 2, 2016)

For the past two days – we’ve been telling you about the dispute between PUP driver Paul Ferguson, and Douglas Grant – who is John Saldivar’s right hand man.  Ferguson made a complaint alleging that Grant had pulled a gun on him on Sunday morning in front of Sit and Sip nightclub.  At the time, Ferguson insisted that regardless of the complaint, police would not bring charges because Grant is a well-connected UDP:…

"You know, because he is a big UDP."

Well, big UDP or not, Police did their job and they were all ready to charge Grant for aggravated assault – which is a remand offence.  But, in the mother of all ironies, Ferguson is the one who asked police not to bring charges. Police confirmed that at 5:13 yesterday evening, Ferguson went to the police station and gave a statement requesting no further court action against Douglas Grant.

Now, did the baldhead dread get chicken?  Or did they work out a “sit and sipâ€￾ settlement? Well…who knows what happens in these matters, but we do know that Douglas Grant has gone from looking at a few nights on remand, to free and clear of all charges.
