Manuela Lue is no stranger to being recognized for her accomplishments. She co-founded the Belize Rosary Mission, and is the Director of the BNE's Energy for Life Program who has been featured in The Catholic Times multiple times for her work with the youths in both Belize and the US.
Most recently, Lue was awarded the 2016 Commonwealth Youth Worker Award for the Caribbean and Americas region. She was chosen for her work in with the Energy for Life Program where she acts as a mentor to help young people become community leaders and entrepreneurs. Lue and the four other regional winners will travel to London next week to share their experiences, and present their work at an international symposium.
