Paumen’s First Interview: Did He Plot To Kill Modiri?
posted (November 4, 2016)
For the past 2 nights, we've been showing you our interview with Michael Modiri, the Franks Eddy business man who is locked in a criminal and civil court battle with his neighbour and major American Tour Operator, Bradley Paumen.

Modiri says that he will not stand by anymore and allow Paumen to continue trespassing on his land without compensation, especially since he is collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars in his tour guide operation. Today, we got an opportunity to hear from Paumen himself on this alleged trespass, and we also spoke with a number of the villagers from Franks Eddy about this road in dispute. We'll get to that bit later on in the news, but first, we'll show you our interview with Paumen, where we asked that burning question everyone wanted answered since January, when this story first hit the news. Did he hire a hitman to kill his neighbour?

Here's what he had to say...

Bradley Paumen - CEO, Dark Night Cave Tubing Adventures
"He wants to get compensation. He hasn't invested any money here. Probably got 5 million dollars spent back here in developing this property. The bridge that was crossed even though it's sworn affidavit by him and his surveyor that I didn't build the bridge. I hate to tell you that I built the bridge. When he raised the bridge I helped raise the bridge, the locals here helped raise the bridge pounding nails carrying tree. Now these people here contributed. He never contributed anything."

"You have mentioned that the company's name has taken some hits. Mr. Modiri said that you stole the idea for the company from him. His intellectual property and now you have made a lucrative business out of it. Do you want to respond to that?"

Bradley Paumen - CEO, Dark Night Cave Tubing Adventures
"Well, I'll give you the paper work before you leave but the business that he was before you don't have to worry about me stealing that property. I'll go ahead and give you a link to look up Michael Modiri, and the business he was in. He wasn't in the tourism business, I'll tell you that."

Reporter
"Sir, lastly there are even greater allegations being made against you. You know Mr. Modiri says that you put a hit on his head. You were trying to kill him. Do you have a response to that as well?"

Bradley Paumen - CEO, Dark Night Cave Tubing Adventures
"I am glad you used allegedly because not everybody does but all I can say is that I'm 100 percent innocent and the evidence is going to clearly indicate that. I wish I could be in trial tomorrow. I wish I could take a lie detector test and have some other people take the lie detector test the same time. I could clear it in a day but I can't so anyway ill just leave it as that there's all a lot of alleged stuff that is going to come out within a very short time, the truth comes out."
