Two days ago we told you about the beatdown at the scene of the fire where Two year old Kaylee Alvarez perished. Relatives of the deceased beat a man suspected of setting the fire. Well, so far, police say there is no evidence of arson, and, now, additionally, the two persons accused of the beating were charged today.
Fisherwoman, 23 year old Nickesha Rhaburn and stevedore, 28 year old Brian Welch were arraigned in court for use of deadly means of harm and dangerous harm upon 20 year old Richie-rich Jones (yes, that's the name that went to court!).
A mob of men and women allegedly beat and stabbed Jones after knocking him off his bike near the fire scene. He was stabbed three times in the back, and clubbed over the head with a two by four.
The police prosecutor objected to bail because a knife was used and
Senior Magistrate, Sharon Fraser agreed and remanded both into custody at the Belize Central Prison. They are due back in Court #2 on December 9th.
