In last night's news, we told you about the 2 new multimillion dollar roads which have been constructed in Orange Walk South.
Here now is that story about the Yo Creek to San Antonio Road, and the August Pine Ridge to Blue Creek Road. They are valued and 20 million dollars, and instead of having to endure a punishing ride to and from Orange Walk Town, residents of villages along these roads will now cruise all the way. Our news team tested out the new roads when we attended the inauguration ceremonies today. Here's what the Minister of Works had to say about it:
The roads were upgraded under the program called the EU's Accompanying measures for Sugar.
