Like many other projects, the Ministry's new office was funded by the ever generous Taiwanese Government. And of course, Ambassador Benjamin Ho was celebrating with Minister Elrington. But this will be the last time we see Ambassador Ho at these events, that's because he is retiring after 35 years of service. But don't be alarmed! We will still enjoy the favourable relations with Taiwan. Ambassador Ho told us more about his future plans and assured us that the very amicable relationship between Belize and Taiwan will surely continue without him.
Ambassador Ho leaves the country on Sunday. The new Ambassador will start working next week Wednesday.
